The place is original and quiet and has nice location close to transport facilities e. The queen room is cheap and has central heating, iron and ironing board, and television. The beds are comfortable and the staff is very helpful and affable.

Only plus point is the location, very central
1 - room was dirty, thick layers of dust! 2- shower looked like it had never been cleaned! 3- breakfast consisted of a piece of toast with jam, nothing else! 4- had to go down 4 flights of stairs just for a cup of hot water, no facilities in room. 5- tv didn't even work properly, was an aerial attached, I.E. Nothing connected to the wall so kept having to fiddle about just to get a fuzzy reception. Generally speaking this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in and even with the location being good I would never stay there again!!!!

Lying in bed and watching the tele.
Staff were rude, very unprofessional, wore the same clothes all the time. The breakfast was of poor quality and one member off staff walked through the dining room in bare feet. We were given the wrong room to start off with. We had to ask for a hair dryer and freeview box. The shower stopped working at one point.

The location of this hotel was idea for my trip as it was near Hyde Park. Plenty of places to eat & drink around the hotel, and lots of bus services to take you to Marble Arch, Oxford Circus & more central London.
The room was very basic, and in need of some serious tlc. No hot water for a shower, and while bed linen was clean, everything else was dusty and in need of some soap & water.

1. Convenience location, just opposite the tube station & easy access by bus or walking to shopping area. 2. Free Wi-Fi facilities 3. Reception staff is helpful.
1. No lift access to hotel floor, rather difficult for traveller with big lugguage or older travellers. 2. Breakfast is miserable as it did not cater reasonable portion for hotel guest. We end up not having breakfast because they told us the breakfast had finished up by the earlier guests. 3. Room is very small with little walking space to open up our luggage. 4. TV reception is poor & no air-con, so it's hot during summer.

Friendly staff.
The room was small and very dirty in comparison to what it could have looked like if only they had taken the time to clean it and repair the simplest things. Tv set was broken, curtains were almost falling off the wall. All in all not a nightmare, but certainly not worth the money. Guests should make sure that they bring a lot of tolerance!

Absolutely nothing other than the location
Everything was wrong. The room was incredibly small. Breakfast was a joke. Hotel staff were rude and unwilling to help or change what was wrong. Not too expensive but not worth it.
